Four tips for raising clownfish

The clown fish has four abilities to raise
The clown fish

The clownfish is a type of seawater fish that is popular because of its exquisite and cute appearance. Nowadays, many people who raise fish at home also like to keep a few small ones in the tank. The ugly fish is used to add a bit of color, but raising the ugly clown fish is not easy. We still need to master some small skills.

One of the ways to raise clown fish is to feed them. Clown fish do not have high requirements for food. The food of artificially raised clown fish can be relatively simple, such as pellets, minced shrimp meat or other omnivorous baits. However, it should be noted that the food should be eaten in the first two months. Appropriately adding some natural astaxanthin and spirulina powder to the food can make the color of the fish more vivid. Since the acclimation time in the growing field is relatively short, it would be better if some annual insects can be added after feeding the food.

Clown devil fish must be raised on time and quantitatively every day, and new water needs to be replaced regularly. When changing the water, new water should be injected slowly and should not be flushed directly to the surface of the fish to avoid damage to the clown fish.

The second skill of raising clown fish is to protect the light and water flow. The luster must be sufficient before it grows into an adult fish. During this period, the fish grows very fast. If the luster is not enough, it will affect the color and growth of the fish. At night, the clown fish rests on the tentacles of the sea anemone. When kept in a naked tank by aquarists, the water flow should be smaller at night. The fish will lie on the bottom of the tank to sleep at night. Too much water flow will easily cause the fish to become tired and affect the growth of the fish.

The third way to raise clownfish is to pay attention to their territoriality and monogamy . Unless they are a couple or they are a group of clown fish, they will fight with each other to occupy the territory. Monogamy refers to the fact that a pair of clownfish are always together within their host anemone. But some adults will tolerate some small fish in their anemones, and clownfish populations have a stately hierarchical appearance. Clown fish that live in groups can change gender during the maturation process to maintain population reproduction. The female in the group is the dominant species. Thus, in a small clownfish system, the sea anemone includes a large dominant female, a male subordinate to the female, and several juvenile fish whose sex has not yet developed.

The fourth method of raising clownfish is polyculture. The clownfish is a member of the bird family, with a rather impatient personality, and is very malicious towards new fish of the same species in the tank. It is not a problem to keep them in mixed culture, but the following conditions must be met:

1. Several fish should be put into the tank at the same time, and the time interval should be shortened as much as possible, and some small ones should be put down first and then some big ones.

2. There should be a large number of anemones (carpets) in the tank, at least three of the three types of fish. Anemone (carpet)

3. The tank must be large enough, and the anemone (carpet) must be Well proportioned. Although the above three methods can avoid fights between them, they cannot completely solve the problem. The fishes need to take careful care of them to get along healthily and harmoniously.
