Shar-Pei
2. 3-month-old Shar-Pei has just been weaned and is in a critical period of body development and growth. It needs enough bone development and growth. Nutrients are supplied. However, Shar-Pei dogs aged 2 or 3 months are still extremely weak and have weak body functions, so they need special attention in terms of dietary maintenance. Such a big Shar-Pei eats repeatedly all day long, so how much it eats in one meal is something that the owner should pay attention to.
Generally speaking, Shar-Pei dogs aged 2 or 3 months should be fed according to the principle of eating less and eating more. Moreover, the puppies at this time have just been weaned, so the frequency of feeding and food should be as close as possible to the dog's lactation period. For example, if a Shar Pei dog breastfeeds about 6 times a day, then the number of feedings per day should also be maintained at about 5-6 times. And the food prepared should be easy to absorb and digest. It is also best to soak professional puppy dog food first and then give it to the dog.
Feeding Shar-Pei puppies should not be too much, but neither should it be too little. Dogs will easily get hungry if they eat less, and they will not have enough nutritional energy to support their body growth. However, if you eat too much, the Shar-Pei's intestines and stomach are prone to indigestion. Therefore, we must pay attention to the issue of preparing food for dogs. You can neither prepare too much nor too little. It is very important to grasp the appropriate principles.
After the Shar-Pei dog eats every time, touch its belly with your hands. If it is neither full nor deflated and remains stable, it means that the food intake is just right. If the pet dog's stomach is very full, it means that the dog has been fed too much and needs to be appropriately reduced. On the contrary, if the Shar-Pei dog has a flat belly, it means that it has eaten too little, and some food should be added in excess.
